February 15, 2019 - Aged extremely well!! Excellent cab. Allowed it to breathe an hour and once I started drinking, I couldn't stop! No notes taken.

March 1, 2017 - I have had good experience with various vintages of this wine and the 05 was no exception as the medium body wine was very consistent after being decanted for two hours, we had it with filet and crab cakes, the wine is heavier than a bordeaux but lighter than many Californian cabs. tannins are reasonably soft and the fruit is forward with a clean finish.

January 1, 2012 - Decanted an hour or so before pouring. Consumed over one night. Nose shows currant, ripe black cherry, oak, vanilla and cola. Taste is driven mostly by the oak with cassis and tobacco underneath. Pretty well integrated tannins with a nice black tea finish. Wish there was a little less oak.

December 18, 2011 - This is drinking great right now. Pronounced oak up front, but settles in nicely and tannins are well balanced. Wish I had not opened other bottles until now.
