January 5, 2024 - Champagne and claret (John's place, Croton): Always love this wine, although tonight my attention was pulled away by the '89 La Dominique in the same flight. Lovely complex red and dark fruited flavours with more savoury smoky, herbal, and wintergreen notes, very pretty and elegant. Lovely wine, but perhaps lost a bit in a lineup where there were several spectacular wines.

December 3, 2023 - Real fruit remaining, immediately noticeable in the nose and on the palate. Lifted, clean, herbal, eucalyptus finish. Really nice.

September 24, 2023 - From an owc. It had good weight but it was not very integrated, while the fruit lacked freshness.
