  September 21, 2013 - Currant, blackberry, cranberry, anise, cassis, graphite, and dried tobacco on the nose. Anise, blackberry, and graphite dominated the palate with an undertone of nutmeg. Soft and elegant. Delicious.

  March 22, 2012 - Subtile nose with fruits, leather, pencil. Dark purple colour. Mature wine still fruity with medium body, Soft tannins and nice acidity, Dark fruits, black currant, plums, leather earthy tones, smoke. Mediumlong aftertaste. Decanted for 2h. Wish I had more bottles.

  July 25, 2011 - Nose of muted fruits with a healthy dose of iodine, shoe polish and worn leather.
  The palate is dry, worn oak fruits that overpower the fruits here. This does have a lovely violet note but it fades quickly with the rest of the wine. Very hollow... Past its prime. The short finish does showcase some wet stone notes and worn saddle.
  
  I hope this is a one off. We have about 2 cases of this at work. I will post another note when i open another bottle from the cellar.

  June 20, 2011 - Very limited nose. Honeyed, viscous drinking with tannins softening. well balanced. Leave another year or two. Very good now.
