January 20, 2022 - brickish red, thinning lip in color. nose- dried fruit, cherry pie, toasty. palate- strewed fruit, herbal, light tannins
October 21, 2013 - Lighter than I would have expected. Started very closed. Elegant but missing that KB power.

February 3, 2013 - This was excellent. Interesting contrasts on the nose, with aromas of dark fruit (black cherry, blackberry) intermingling with a citrus, grapefruit note, as well as a flinty mineral edge. On the palate, more of the same contrast, with black cherry and grapefruit. Spicy finish ends a touch hot, but not enough to detract from the overall experience. Nice.
January 31, 2013 - dark red in color. dark red fruit, smoke, cedar on the nose. cedar, smoke, clove, sweet cherry on the palate. medium acid, low tannins on the finish.
December 31, 2012 - Took to dinner at SRG in Niagara on the Lake in Canada. Surprised on how well the wine was drinking. Elegant on the nose with dried cherry and baking spice combined with some orange/citrus zest. Food friendly and good finish.
October 9, 2012 - I have consistently found the '06's from Kosta Browne to be extremely disappointing. This bottle will do nothing to change my perception. Huge, sweet, hot and lacking any real distinction. Coffee, cola and wet paint are the obvious aroma descriptors. Soapy and hot on the finish. Would be good with chili, but not much else. (82)
August 25, 2012 - Delicious. One of the best KBs we've had. Drinking really well right now.
June 25, 2012 - Outstanding. Great red fruit. Great nose. Put the other pinots we had that night far behind.
