January 26, 2024 - Lovely ripe fresh fruit - with attitude! Interesting, has character and forcefulness. Enjoyable.

January 20, 2024 - Decanted 30 minutes. Aromas include dark cherry, dark plum, peaty smoky wet soil, concord grape. Medium bodied with bright, juicy acid and light, finely grained tannin. Has a body made for drinking now. Flavors include slightly sweet black cherry, blueberry, bacon fat, garrigue, and black pepper. Drink over the next 2-3 years.

September 19, 2023 - Violets and black berries on the nose, only a hint of vegetal. Really nice lighter style, medium acid, lighter body, black cherry cola and a lovely mineral finish. Crazy good for a “simple” Saumur Champigny. Probably not for long aging? I bet it’s great for at least another 3-5 years though.

April 22, 2023 - Very dark, more than expected. Plummy and sunny fresh fruits with the bell pepper can franc aromas. Perfumed and easy palate filled with charcoal, allspice, fruitcake and red fruits. Long even finish. The bell pepper again at the end is right in place.

April 10, 2023 - Slightly austere with good fruit. No funkiness. A bit of earthiness
