February 26, 2022 - Tasted at South Beach Food and Wine Festival. Tobacco on the nose. Pretty maroon hue one the edges of the glass. Nice but one dimensional light bodied Nebbiolo showing a modest finish of candied rose petals. With time you get tertiary flavors of cacao and blood orange. Still drinking well for a 32 year old wine but this was cellared at the winery so it’s showing its best.

January 7, 2012 - Full flavoured little treat, consumed in seedy part of Hamburg in an old established Italian Restaurant run like Fawlty Towers.
Smelled of mocha and tasted of gamey n dark berries. Recommend drink now.
