December 27, 2014 - Uncomplicated but enjoyable claret. Seems fully mature but should hold well for some further years.

April 30, 2013 - Delicate blackcurrant leaf nose, earthy undergrowth; nice palate, smooth elegant and balanced and with good fruit. Lovely charming mature claret.

March 2, 2012 - Colour: almost black, purple on the rim.
Nose: Decent but nice with hints of cherry pie
Tasting: Still well enjoyable. Clearly recognizable acidity and also some adstringency. Dark berries and again cherries. Finish not too long.
Drink now. Will probably no more improve.

December 29, 2009 - Drunk 2 bottles of this wine with a rib of beef. Decanted both bottles about 2 hours before we ate and was pretty harsh on the nose before decanting. After the 2 hours was a lovely open flavour of red fruit and very smooth to drink. Enjoyed every last drop. Was a very good wine, would not say outstanding but still a pleasure and will open the remaining bottles over the next few months as think it has probably just peaked.
