October 27, 2020 - If you don't like Aussie wines that were high in alcohol, over-the-top fruit, etc., just give them time. This wine has settled into a much more sophisticated offering as it reaches the end of its drinking range. Still has nice fruit, but now it goes much better with food than it did 12 or 13 years ago.
September 29, 2019 - Wow surprisingly still really fresh! The stelvin has probably helped with that but lots of ripe lush liqueured red and dark fruit, plummy, raspberries, a touch of smoke and herb, not the most complex but powerful, alcoholic and glycerin filled while entering 2ry development which is enticing to many.
September 7, 2019 - Super good, still plenty of silky fruit. A super bargain, to boot.
June 29, 2019 - Very nice bottle, considering its age. Sweet fruit and voluptuous without bombast.

February 1, 2014 - heat (alcohol) on the pop. After a couple of hours of air, it settled into a great place. Classic Aussie Shiraz. No fading evident.

Great dark fruit & not too jammy. It's close to being at the end of life-span, but still very good. Enjoy!

December 7, 2012 - So if you tasted 5 wines including this one, it would invariably be 2,3 or 4. there is something undeniably likeable about this. but I think this would rarely be #1. tasty stuff to be sure. but not so distinctive.

July 4, 2012 - A nice fruity,but not jammy wine. Dark fruit on the nose and palate. More fruit than tannin, paired very nicely with steaks on Father's Day. Noticeably high alcohol content (15.6).
