May 10, 2019 - Forget the tasting window on the website . Second bottle tasted in a couple of months and this is still tight and tannic . Took a bottle to Otto Mezzo in HK and seemed thin at first but well done to the sommelier who quadruple decanted and it really started to open up once the tannins softened but still think this will be much better in another 3-5 years .

February 9, 2019 - Gorgeous fruit. Cherry, figs, notes of vanilla and depth of flavour. Almost seemed a bit young with a good tannic backbone but was open for busy with a slight brooding quality. Pair with red meat dishes. Very masculine wine. 94

February 3, 2018 - Leftovers from Alt Festa. Around 3 ounces left over from the preceding night.

Where the Rabaja perfume was expansive, this was pure and detailed with great lift. Ethereal, weightless perfume. Rose petals, cherry, mor eon the red side of nebbiolo fruit. While many of the other amazing wines this night come right at you, this one draws you in. Graceful, with tremendous depth, poise, and clarity. It's focused and filigree fine, with subtle power, all in a deceptively mid weighted frame. Elegant, with great tension, and a sense of salinity, olive, along with the fantastic rose, earth, and licorice perfume. There is subtlety, a knock you over with a feather wine. Equally amazing as the Giacosa Rabaja Riserva, with less breadth and density, but with more finesse and greater detail. Amazing wine where everything is in perfect harmony. Incredible and youthfully amazing. Stunning. 99

December 1, 2016 - Monprivato vertical (Søllerød Kro): Seemed tired and pruny in the day - probably not correct

January 22, 2016 - Piedmont and Champagne - Round 2 (MG): Incredibly intense flavors, dark plum and medicine cabinet but also different spices.
There is some oak that is hiding some of the other things and overall it does seem a little bit singular in its profile but I could certainly feel that there was more to this wine beneath its youthfulness.
The aftertaste is only medium-long and should improve with more age.
Still a very young wine but clearly also a wine that will improve a lot over the next many years. A great pleasure to taste this!
