April 5, 2020 - Aging very nicely. Still has a lot of life. Smooth tannins. Nice cherry notes and great structure. Decanted an hour and got even better as we drank over the next hour with dinner.

March 28, 2020 - Perfectly aged, this was ready immediately after opening the bottle. The flavors were blended well - not as much of the typical perfume on the nose that a younger Barolo would display, but rich deep flavor on the palate. Wish I had a case of this.

March 26, 2020 - Tight at first. Opened up after about 45min.

January 18, 2020 - San Diego WineSpectator.com Offline al tartufo, 1/18/2020 (Solare Restaurant, Liberty Station, Point Loma, San Diego CA): Glorious notes of black cherries and blackberries and their liqueurs; roses, lavender, violets, stony red soil. Similar on the palate, medium-full body, seamless, polished tannins, beautiful balance, lingering finish. Showing brilliantly now, with long life ahead. My #3.

January 11, 2020 - Did not show as well as my last bottle last year. This bottle did not have the evolution and tannins were quite austere even after 90 minutes in a decanter. Perhaps needed more time. Solid overall.
