April 30, 2024 - Bold. Ruby. Yummy. Didn’t decant yet enjoyable on the opening night. Even more delicious on second night with honey roasted chicken.
April 26, 2024 - Deep, very dark reddish-purple in color, essentially opaque. Full, forward & fragrant nose of dark fruits aromas of cherries, blackberries & cassis with overtones of smoky oak/vanilla notes, earthy/dusty, mint/anise, spices, cocoa/mocha, herbs & minerals. Full bodied with a good concentration of somewhat balanced & smooth textured, plush & jammy, over-ripe dark fruit flavors of cherries, boysenberries & plums with spices, some dark cocoa, burnt sugar, minerals & oak/vanilla. Lingering finish with a hint of RS? Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing (more than 90 minutes). It is a bit heavy handed with jammy fruit flavors/aromas & thus, appears to be made for those who enjoy overly ripe & over extracted Cabernets. I question its age-ability given the high 15% alcohol level, but it seems it was made for near term consumption. I do not recall past vintages being quite like this. Is this an evolution of the brand looking to be the Caymus of Paso Robles?
April 24, 2024 - deep ruby, medium/light body, mild aromas of dark red/black fruits, bramble, flavors of sweet fruits balanced with moist earth, medium acid light tannins. decent everyday new world style, but not to my liking
April 22, 2024 - Floral-fruit nose. Blueberry compote, vanilla. Fruity, thick. Bright acidity keeps this from veering into syrupy. A satisfying crowd pleaser.

April 13, 2024 - Decent wine, quite fruit forward and a little over extracted IMO. On the sweeter side so not an every day Cabernet for me.
April 7, 2024 - A dark ruby red Cabernet, with lots of black fruits, and smooth from start to finish. Very yummy for the "high fruit" lovers!
April 7, 2024 - Deep Ruby Colors. Aromas of mushroom, cherry, raspberry, and cedar. Very jammy blackberry and dark current flavors. Great to drink today but might be better in 5 years (it won't last that long in this house as I think this is a consistent everyday "go-to" wine). I have read other reviews that found this to be an overly extracted wine. While a little on the sweet side I found the acidity and tannins to be well-balanced for such a young wine.
