    June 4, 2021 - Deep bright ruby.
Damson, cherry stone sourness, earth and tar.
Raspberry, cherry, plum, licorice, dark spice, tar, cola. Quite fruit driven still. Lots of chalky tannins. Youthful disposition.

March 27, 2021 - Pop and pour- killer nose menthol and gorgeous roses. Palate mimics the nose with long balanced vibrant finish. Very very nice. In the decanter now so it should only improve from here.

December 27, 2020 - Magnum that upon opening was already giving a lot; decanted in a magnum decanter for a couple hours before dinner.

Nose: High- toned red and black fruits that have a driving mineral verve. Tar and lilacs are omnipresent and it smells like it was etched out of a mountain of berry chalk.

Taste: Crunchy red fruit with predominant cranberry and black cherry. This is high toned and has a great core of balsamic red cherry with linear fine tannins which run through the fruit like colors through white granite. The oak, which I typically don’t like with my Nebbiolo is there but it does not detract from the typical Nebbiolo markers, rather it adds roundness to the texture. There is real concentration here which lets you know that this is a special vineyard.

Overall: I love this wine. It is reaching its apogee and should drink well for the next 10+ years.

December 25, 2020 - Excellent wine, still quite tannic. Had with Barolo Risotto. Needs a few hours to open up. Recommended.

September 4, 2020 - These Barolo are the most sensitive things. My small kitchen wine fridge-24 bottles went to 78 degrees for 24 hours with power outages last week. I have been drinking the exposed wines up to not let the heat be an issue. This wine was dark and muddy color and flavors, wildly different from the previous bottles purchased. Hope this is the answer. The other bottles are safely stored in the 58-61 degrees cellar,

March 13, 2020 - Took to an event. Big, deep and solid. Unfolded very nicely with decanting. Great nose, and packed palate. Can certainly hold.

January 4, 2020 - Very floral. Roses, tar and black fruit. I gave this a four hour decant. Refined tannins. Lovely texture. Second of 13 at the tasting. Very well received. 93
