April 12, 2024 - Still a beauty and can probably hold for quite some time in the bottle (years? Decades? Indefinitely?!) Not quite as layered and nuanced as I recall but still vibrant and delicious. Paired beautifully with a “milk and honey” cheesecake and a vanilla bean ice cream with salted caramel sauce.

January 14, 2023 - PnP from half bottle. What a color! Very dark brown like cold brew coffee in the glass. Translucent rim. On the nose, honey, burnt sugar, apricot, baking spice. On the palate, mouth filling viscosity and silkiness. Immediate sweetness, honey, brown sugar. Finish that lasts forever of candied orange, more caramelized sugar, and some acidity but enough to counter the cloying-ness of it all. Overall very complex with a uniquely voluptuous mouthfeel.

TL;DR delicious but can't drink more than a small glass.

June 23, 2021 - As brown as an '83 Rieussec, but at 20 years younger, far more alive. Caramelized apricots and oranges. Touches of hot coco with melted marshmallows. Nonetheless the sweetness was not too syrupy nor sappy.

June 1, 2021 - Decanted for 3 hours. Poured out brown. Really good, sweet, deep caramel nose. The texture is unctuous with a ton of viscosity, sweet without being cloying. Nice surprise.
