November 17, 2008 - Juicy, black cherry, spicy, leggy, frizzante (!?!)
October 23, 2008 - Juicy, lightly tannic, lots of cherry and currant acidity - great with tomato sauced pasta - on the harsh side for sipping though. Pretty servicable but not much more.
June 17, 2008 - Black cherry and green pepper nose. Black cherry followed by green pepper. Some tobacco on the finish with sour cherry. It had a little frizzante that went away with time. Nothing special but nice acidity makes it good with food.
June 9, 2008 - kinda tasted carbonated, like drinking grape soda... MMMM.... do you wanna wanna, fanta!!!
April 18, 2008 - Varietally correct for Sangiovese. Somewhat simple with overt fruit flavors but has enough acid to match well with food (a decent pizza wine...). Good value at ~$11 pb.
February 27, 2008 - Deep ruby color. Somewhat reticent nose of roasted sweet red pepper, pine nuts and spice. On the palate, coffee and a little boysenberry fruit. Also lots of fine tannin; this is a youthful wine in a modern style.
