November 22, 2022 - Absolutely amazing. Well balanced, dried currants, cigar box, potpourri. Still lovely and lively after all these years.

September 14, 2014 - On the nose - leather, tobacco leaf, dried fig, dark chocolate, cigar box.
Still some tannins at opening but softened quickly and some dried dark cherry, dried herbs and light oak showed through.

October 18, 2012 - After my last bottle, figured this one would be dead - boy was I wrong! Great, tannin structure still good. For the price, a very good Mount Veeder wine.

May 29, 2012 - If you still have a bottle of this sitting around, I'd advise you to drink it. It's on the down side and by the end of summer my prediction is a good investment will be gone. Still very big and bold but has the flavors/tannins of a last leaf.

September 28, 2011 - Getting a little worn. Tannins still linger, basic flavor profile still there. Got better over the 2 hours we savored it, but wasn't as good as previous stuff. Time to drink up gang!

September 26, 2010 - Nice, aged meritage mix. The violets and sweet red cherry fruit really sing in this wine. A tough tobacco on the finish. Drink this year. The fruit is nice but it's lightened up from my 1st 2 bottles. Still well balanced.
