    August 10, 2013 - Opened and poured, this wine gave an excellent showing. This wine on the bouquet and palate remains youthful with subtle, underlying mature notes. The bouquet offers notes of earth, dark fruits, leather, and spice. The aromatics are expressive and detailed. The color is maturing dark ruby. The medium (full) bodied palate shows dark, brooding fruit combined with still present tannins on the medium length finish. This bottle suggests that the wine is at or around its peak but should continue to drink well for the next five years. Imported by Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant.

    July 31, 2010 - Good and fairly open right away, but after a few days in the fridge it's at its even better. Very powerful; excellent in the mouth with a redcurrant mushroom taste. Excellent finish.

    June 17, 2005 - Served a bit too warm, but still fantastic. Full bodied, ripe, oaky, quite sweet on the palate, but cut with just the right amount of acidity. Very lovely.
