January 31, 2023 - Deep, dark reddish-purple in color; almost opaque. Full, fragrant & attractive aromas of fruit aromas of cherries, blackberries & blueberries, with earthy/dusty & floral notes, minerals, herbs & spices with a hint of cedar undertones. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blackberries & plums, herbs & spices, some cocoa & a hint of vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well with decanting & extended airing but has the structure to develop further with additional aging.

November 26, 2022 - Wow. If you want an affordable, mid-week red, with depth, and old world character, I pick this one! It's brick red in the glass. On the nose I get dark blackberry, with a drinkable balance of herbs (rosemary), fruit (dark cherry, blackberry) and spice. I think this is a great weekday red!
