January 24, 2023 - Oh my. This is dark, tannic, brooding. Doesn’t want to give you anything more than that initial smash of blackberry and an iron/graphite spine, and some dried herb before the tannins take over and shut it all down. Way too young. No point in opening any more bottles for years. What will it hold? No idea.

January 9, 2023 - (53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47% Merlot, 16 Monate 2/3 in Tonamphoren, 1/3 in Barriques ausgebaut, 15% Neuholz). In der Nase Merlot-lastiger als die anderen Cuvées, dazu viel Kirschfrucht, etwas Pflaume, blonder Tabak. Im Gaumen rund und weich, bereits wunderbar zugänglich, mit viel Schmelz, einer reifen, knackigen Frucht und leicht cremiger Textur, die Tannine sind fein verwoben, tragen die delikate Frucht zusammen mit einer gut eingebundenen Säure in ein langanhaltendes Finale. Ungemein verführerisch und elegant. 93 vvPunkte www.vvwine.ch
