February 24, 2024 - Very nice Chianti. Popped and poured. Dark and red fruits are prominent. Typical Sangiovese notes with reasonable tannins. Rampolla is a top notch producer and this wine shows well and will continue to do so for several years.
February 22, 2024 - Everything you want from Chianti Classico. Vibrant dark raspberry with crisp acidity and plenty of grip. Will last many years but already drinking nicely. 13.5%
February 21, 2024 - Quite a lot of Chianti (Must & Lees, Warren Street): Really good. Saturated dark cherry, spicy oak, violet, vanilla: contained but deep. Clearly of breeding from a quality producer - a contrast of high toned perfume with fruit depth. Subtly concentrated on the palate with a bitter edge, fine tannins.
February 19, 2024 - The 2nd time I've tried this particular vintage, and if you like bright red fruit & acidity on a lighter-bodied chassis, this might be the CC for you. Sweet & sour cherry on the palate, this is very pleasant and a real food friendly wine.
January 14, 2024 - I bought a variety of $30 Chiantis recently and have tried 4 of them. The other 3 were delicious but this tasted like a cheap $8 bottle. Hopefully just an off bottle.
December 29, 2023 - Not a producer that I tend to buy, but this is very nice. Bright acidity and sweet/ripe red fruit. Pretty delicious 🍷👍

June 7, 2023 - Farven flot gennemsigtig, lidt violet. Lidt gardiner. Meget klar. Skinner lidt, man kan se bunden. Duften lidt lukket. Den har mørke bær og man kan godt fornemme at det ikke er ren sangiovese. Det er solbær. Også noget sødme. Mint og lidt støvet sangiovese bagved. Smagen meget ung med tydelig blå frugt. Syren dominerer lige nu og den er lidt lukket. Tannin på tænderne. God stor krop og en god frugt. Ikke den helt store koncentration. Kan tydelig fornemme at den er lidt Medoc-like. Pæn lang eftersmag. Skal ligge. Ikke rigtig Chianti i min optik
