December 25, 2023 - Ljus i färgen med lätt jäst i doften. Grön smak, brioche, lite jäst. Ganska fyllig. Det var en del snack om ev. defekt, men landade i att det är producentstilen.

May 19, 2023 - Bought at the Chateau, all BdB (they are on the Cotes de Blanc), same year.
Mesnil – Chalkiest soil of the 3, reflected in that crispy edge. Lightly floral on the nose. Sl saline on the palate. Very fresh. Just over 3g/L dosage so extra-brut territory.
Avize – Still chalky poor soils. Fresh, floral. Has that mineraly edge. Light pear and marzipan.
Oger – More rounded. Highest dosage (still under 6g/L). Lemony citrus, nutty pastry. Probably the easiest to distinguish. Has seen some oak (old barrels).
Drinking window till 2033. -

November 26, 2022 - Very recent disgorgement.
Chalk explodes in the nose.
Mouth with a pure and very straight profile. The chalk largely dominates, but the dosage gives comfort and lengthens for a good balance. Nice saline finish.

November 23, 2022 - Was delivered very recently and it’s young, disgorged only a year ago. A certain scent of yeast and a touch of coconut fat, perhaps nuttiness, alongside the usual suspects. Thin in color but all the richer in taste! Yes, creamy with a fine mousse. Red apples, some bread and brioche. Nice, long aftertaste. It tastes more ripe than it actually is. Perhaps more towards BdN than classic razor-sharp BdB. This is good stuff!
