June 18, 2019 - Lots of life yet. Needs time to shed oak. Euro styled dark wine. Nice with food.
March 18, 2016 - Plum, spices; medium bodied, some fine tannins, secondary flavors, wood and earthy. Long finish.
January 9, 2016 - Ripe fruit, balanced with nice acidity and lingering tannins.
October 2, 2015 - Pretty flat, probably over the hill.
May 9, 2015 - Nothing special.
December 17, 2014 - Dusty, stewed cherries, not much complexity. 86-88
September 13, 2013 - Bottle was skunked. Previous bottles were all good. This one had gone bad despite being in temp/humidity controlled storage.
May 2, 2013 - Cork penetrated, no muscle left inside.
March 31, 2013 - Dark plum and young date. Brown spices and tempered acidity.
March 30, 2013 - As before, really great if you can open early or wait, evolution allows a nicer fruit to develop and the floral notes to build behind the purple accents. B+/91 = 50/5/11/8/8/8
