January 3, 2024 - Finally got the opportunity to taste this new wine from Aurelien Laherte. As always with his wines I got hit again right to the pleasure spot. So lively and fresh, spotless purity, masterfully balanced. Delicious.

December 24, 2023 - Excellent again, and notes consistent with my last bottle. Love this producer.

August 8, 2023 - Slightly smoky, earthy and herbal. Came through a little bitter to me.

June 16, 2023 - Rose gold pour, nice color. Bruleed strawberry, pastry crust, and light floral scent. Broad acidic backbone leads a stoney, dry mouth feel. Ripe berries and blood orange lend an attractive perceived sweetness which falls into umami creaminess on a medium finish. Very good, great qpr.

    April 16, 2023 - April 2022 disgorgement.

Consumed at a wine dinner. PnP. This bottle was much better than the last one I had -- I think the additional time from disgorgement has allowed the wine to settle into itself a little bit. Red fruited nose that carries through to the palate. The palate is as dry and linear as you might expect from a brut nature, but with a hint of ripe fruit to add some balance, especially as the wine came up from fridge temp.

March 8, 2023 - last bottle I had of this was very disappointing and I assumed was just off. There has been a lot of praise since then, so after a few months, checking back in. Slight pink hue, inviting nose. Thankfully this is more in line with what I hope when buying this wine. Lovely ripe red apple, good texture. A little spice, sweet overripe Pear on the finish matched by good acid keeping the sweetness in check. Glad the last seemed to be a one off, this is delicious.

NOSE: light and airy aromatics --- light Pinot Noir aromas (blind, I doubt I'd guess any Pinot Meunier in the blend, on aromatics alone).

BODY: light salmon color; light bodied.

TASTE: very light on the palate: minerals and light Pinot fruit; interesting stone fruit facet to the fruit profile, along with flecks of lime and orange blossom; drinks best with just a slight chill, which allows the fruit to fully emerge, which it didn't when colder. Pretty good, and likely a re-buy, but not as impressive as the BdB Brut Nature, in my estimation.

February 7, 2023 - Very good and unique for the price. Juicy red fruit and citrus zest balanced with mineral and mustiness. Blind I would have guessed older vintage champagne.

December 30, 2022 - This is my first go-round with this wine but I need to get more time with it. This was lovely. A faint tinge of salmon color, a mineral streak ahead of the mousse with wonderful body. Stone fruit with a hint of citrus, it flashes the fruit at your palate and then merges back into it’s mineral lane. Really enjoyed this but had far too little time with it. Relative bargain at $52.99
