May 21, 2024 - Medium ruby color; brambly boysenberry nose.
Lots of big jammy red fruit in this one. It’s a bit unbalanced, but should settle into a good place
In a year or so. Good entry level cuvée
May 18, 2024 - Pretty much what you expect from the area. It's good.
May 14, 2024 - A nice nondescript Pinot, top of the price range for one like this but just OK. Nothing to write home about, just pleasant and not a buyer.
May 1, 2024 - Lotsa ripe berry, a little baking spice and pine, a little cola, cured meat, mushrooms, and red roses. Great intensity on the palate, staining and long, tart fruit and subtle earthy and piney nuances. Probably best to drink on the sooner side, but
March 31, 2024 - Straight laced, four square bottle of Russian River Pinot. No frills, but a good wine that is within range of its $35 price point. Easy drinking.
March 24, 2024 - Very good with Ham, sweet Potato, and Spinach
February 19, 2024 - APPEARANCE: clear, pale, ruby
NOSE: clean condition, medium intensity, primary aromas (fresh red fruit: cranberry, tart cherry)
PALATE: dry, high acidity, low tannin, high alcohol, medium body, medium flavor intensity, prima flavors (fresh cherry, cranberry, pomegranate), short finish and juicy
CONCLUSION: short finish, balanced, complex, medium intensity. 2/4. good wine
February 18, 2024 - Bright cranberry and cherry with some medicinal herbs adding to the profile, rolling to a coca cola finish. Balanced. What a value RRV appellation PN should be. Well priced, nice drink. Drink to 2027.
February 10, 2024 - This was way better on night two. The flavors are more precise. Vivid red cherry, strawberry and tea flavors. Reminds me of a Vosne village level wine that I had recently. Just damn tasty!
January 23, 2024 - Spice, hint of greens (Brussels sprout?), leather on the nose. Pepper notes, earthy, leather. Medium-long finish.
