December 13, 2018 - Found 3 bottles in cellar with some doubt about 15 yr aged low $$ Chilean Cab. Pop and poured. Cork Pop passed nothing- cork intact.
Typical cat pee smell from Chilean Cab present. No VA, no browning. Wonderful Cab flavors and nose. No signs of aging at all. Left half bottle for next night to where it goes, Impressed. Very few California Cabs age this nice and NONE in this price range stand up like this wine. Glad to have 2 more bottles left

January 15, 2015 - Solid, nothing spectacular, likely past peak. A bit better assessment than my initial one.

September 25, 2013 - Similar to previous note - really no better in day 2 than day 1. Initial harshness, followed by very little flavor. There are a lot of cabs at this price point that are far superior.

September 23, 2013 - Overall - disappointing. Inky, deep color; initial harshness implied this would be a big wine, but not much after the initial impression. A bit of alcohol heat, but no lasting flavor profile. Did a pop and pour - will check back on it tomorrow to see if it opens up significantly

February 11, 2013 - Really like this bottle, all the rough edges are gone, so are the green elements that bothered me before. Deep red and black fruits, currants, leather, some oak, chocolate supported by smooth tannin and ample acidity.
