December 15, 2012 - Was a bit old-tasting. Leather and dark fruit.
October 24, 2012 - Not much to add to 12.10.09 and 11.18.11 notes. Deep, opaque purple. Nose of leather, plum, fig, vanilla, and hoisin. Ripe, full palate of blackberry, plum, pepper, cedar, and significant salinity. Excellent length. A flash of alcohol. Sweet tannins. Very good to excellent. The heavy extraction and alcohol are not everyone's cup of tea, but sometimes I just gotta have it...
June 23, 2012 - great fruit, but drink em up now. Acid is mostly gone
March 31, 2012 - Dark, rich fruit, some chocolate and coffee.
