April 18, 2019 - Excellent, very full body, not overpowering, has aged well
December 17, 2015 - Smooth, lush dark berry, blue berry, pepper and spice flavors. Very enjoyable.
December 16, 2013 - Very tasty, and excellent QPR. Dark berry, blueberry, spice and tobacco flavors, smooth and nicely balanced. Still drinking nicely.
August 30, 2013 - This is a great wine and wine value. Drinking very well. Sorry to see the last bottle go.
January 14, 2013 - Earthy cherry and blueberry flavors. Medium bodied, drinking nicely.

February 10, 2012 - This was shockingly good with tannins seamlessly integrated with the fruit. Hints of licorice, currants and menthol blended in with just a touch of oak. It was silky smooth and delicious. I have believed for some time that a consumer could just buy wines imported by Eric Solomon and nothing else and never be disappointed. I wish I had more of this. If you have some, it is very much ready to drink.
January 20, 2012 - Nicely balanced, good concentration, leather and spice.
May 4, 2011 - Deep ruby color. Blackberries, licorice, earthy elements, cherries, worn leather, tobacco, dried herbs on the very nice and open nose. Medium body with ripe, integrated tannins and very nice acidity. Smooth and elegant on the palate with no rough edges. The cellar time has been very nice to this wine. Nice length on the finish with just a bit of an herbal element coming out to add extra complexity. Killer QPR at under $12.
February 14, 2011 - Nose of blueberry, asian spice, and cigar box. Well integrated with a medium finish. Outstanding for the price.
