Die Nase ist fruchtbetont, zeigt sortentypische viel Cassis, dazu Brombeeren, das ist ein Cabernet Duft wie aus dem Bilderbuch, die Klarheit der Frucht zeugt von der chilenischen Herkunft, darüber feinste Röstnoten, Veilchen und etwas Minze. Im Gaumen rund, zugänglich, ein Mund voll Wein, reifes, sehr feines Tannin, hervorragende Balance aus Frucht, Struktur und Alkohol, der Wein leugnet seine Herkunft nicht, bleibt New World ohne dabei ins Klebrige abzudriften. Im Abgang mit grosser Länge und wiederum viel Cassis im Rückaroma. Das ist ein sehr, sehr hohes Niveau hier. Jetzt schon ein Gedicht, mit Reserven bis 2040+. 96 vvPunkte
