March 23, 2024 - PNP, could have used a short decant. Spice, green apples and citrus on the nose. Great cut of acidity. Green apples citrus with a long mineral finish. I really liked this. No rush to drink. Solid 92 points

January 2, 2024 - Paired this with Chilean sea bass figuring it’d complement the miso glaze with a bite of acid and fruit. Bingo. Lime and yellow pears with an edgy clean finish. Very nice.

January 1, 2024 - Annual NYE Dinner and Champagne (My House): Enjoyed this, and it was a good palate calibrator given all the Champagnes we arrayed with it. Seemed like it had a pear signature, playing alongside a little petrol/diesel. Juicy with good acid.

December 3, 2023 - With Marcus and Megan

Citrus and pear compote and a sense of mineralogy on the nose. Focused and detailed. Chalky with excellent extract delivered with grace on the palate. Beautifully balanced and really starting to come into its own.

September 18, 2023 - Non-chardonnay white wine (Craig's yard): Crisp zippy acidity with some sweetness and a somewhat coating mouthfeel that makes the wine seem rich. This is a vast improvement over most pinot gris that I've had.

September 16, 2023 - Very refreshing. Citrus on the nose not particularly aromatic. Citrus, some stony minerality. The acid is quite good. This was a bit austere and slowly opened up over three days. I think it’s worth holding onto these for a bit but I still enjoyed having one.

June 7, 2023 - I have very little experience with Pinot Gris so if you're looking for a comparison to another regions then the other CT users tasting notes for this one have much more street credibility than I do.

It was driven primarily by lime and backed up with some lemon. Tart rind was evident. Good edginess.

May 11, 2023 - Tasted over two nights, this expressed two different faces of the grape. The first night, with minimal airing, it was dominated by a spicy character, and a touch of viscosity. Fast-forward twenty four hours, and the spice has receded to become a background note, with fresh pear and a background creamy note that adds depth to the finish. The balance is excellent, and it brings an Alsatian sensibility without the climate change induced Alsatian overripeness.

March 24, 2023 - Unsurprisingly the best Pinot Gris I can remember drinking. Nice depth and texture along with fruit and acid.
