August 12, 2021 - Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is of medium gold colour, with greenish rims and legs.
Nose: Clean, with pronounced intensity of citrus fruit of lemon and orange marmalade, stone fruit of apricot, tropical fruit of pineapple, maturity notes of honey, dried fruit of raisin, floral notes of blossom, oxidation notes of caramel, sweet spice of cloves. The wine is developing.
Palate: Sweet with high acidity, the wine has medium (+) alcohol, full body and exhibiting pronounced intensity of flavours of citrus fruit of lemon and orange marmalade, stone fruit of apricot, tropical fruit of pineapple, oxidation notes of caramel. The wine has a long finish.
Conclusion: Very good quality Sauternes with an intense nose of great complexity, exhibiting wonderful aromas with elegance. On the palate the wine has amazing balance, with the sweetness and acidity in perfect harmony. The flavours are very concentrated with also an exceptional length. It is ready to drink now and can maintain for another 8-10 years.

July 6, 2021 - This particular example wasn't quite as articulate as a bottle a few years ago, while it could easily have come down to storage variation or decanting time. With about an hour and a half of air, I found this to be much more powerful, showing off a primarily apricot profile, accented by verbena and tropical nuances. Despite the fact that this showed young, the profound depth on the nose and palate (with beautiful balance and length) was obvious.

May 9, 2021 - Korta noter från minnet
Klassisk yquem med en kraft i doft och smak som bara Yquem bränt smör, saffran och hyacint. Lång eftersmak med balanserad syra. I en fin fas nu även om den håller i evigheter.
