November 22, 2008 - This Loring Chardonnay was wonderful as Chris and I opened while cooking a wonderful gourmet meal for Mom, Uncle Marto and Aunt Linda. Very balanced, great acidity and wonderful structure as this was gone in no time.

July 25, 2008 - This wedding gift from Brian Loring was Chris' surprise on this Friday evening. She packed a picnic basket and we headed to the forest preserve at Ft. Sheridan. We enjoyed cheese, crackers, Gorgonzola-stuffed olives and grapes as we watched the sun sink behind our backs as we looked out on the peaceful Lake Michigan waters.

April 4, 2008 - Yes Brian Loring self-proclaimed Pinot freak does Chardonnay! This is the first of six bottles Brian sent Chris and I for our wedding. The novelty of generosity would have been enough but the fact of the matter is that this is great Chardonnay. Medium-bodied the flavors continued to evolve as it warmed in the glass. Crisp with great acidity, pineapple and Granny Smith apples. Very tasty and satifying and held up well in comparison to a Cote Sud from Domaine Serene.
