December 16, 2015 - From the latest tasting notes on CT, I was afraid I had missed the window to drink this wine. I decanted for about 30 minutes. It threw a significant amount of sediment.
I was pleasantly surprised--although it is toward the end of its life, it still provided a good amount of pleasure. The fruit was still hanging on and it had enough structure and character that it was a pleasure to drink. Deep dark fruits and a bit of dustiness were the main notes for me. Needs food--we drank it with some salami, pepperoni and cheeses.
If you are holding one of the remaining 368 bottles in the Community Holdings, you'd be wise to drink it soon. Given proper storage, I don't think it will last more than another year or two. -

May 22, 2014 - A lot of black raspberry, blueberry, and dark bitter chocolate on this one. A touch of some spice and mint on the finish. Liked this one.

December 18, 2012 - Violet in color. Nose of Black currant (cassis), Blackberry, Mineral, and Oak. Good even body with notes of Blueberry, Raspberry, Fig, Cherry, Dust, Forest floor, Mineral, Oak, and Chocolate. Nice long finish.

April 29, 2012 - Realized that I had two bottles of this in the cellar; opened and decanted for an hour. I would say that this was slightly on the back side of its career, but still very good. Given that this is not supposed to be long lived wine, I was pleasantly surprised by the wine; well made and a good wine for the price.
