October 13, 2023 - Did not decant, Nose quite intense Oak and Vanilla. After 30-60 mins the balance was improving. On the pallett though much softer and silky almost. Not too intense - but very fruity and juicy. Not very much tannins. Heavy towards cassis and licorice in my opinion. Maybe plum too.

October 9, 2023 - This is a big mouthful of fruit and oak spice; somewhat creamy texture and loads of coconut on the nose. Pushing on some limits, yet balanced with nice acidity and appropriate in the genre; on the fuller side of tempranillo and still youthful. No hurry to drink this, but I think enjoying the fruit in near-ish term is better than putting down for a long time.

May 21, 2023 - Decant at least two hours to allow wine to soften. Dark berries and chocolate. Lingering finish

May 21, 2023 - Excellent Rioja. For just under £10 in the sale this is an absolute bargain!
Popped and poured a small glass, which was very dense, but still expressive and very enjoyable.
Then decanted the rest, and the wine improved substantially after 30mins.
Very creamy and full of red fruit, vanilla, leather and even coconut.
Had this at a BBQ, with charred peppers, pork shoulder steaks and lamb cutlets (both sprinkled with smoked paprika and some ground cumin) and Greek sausages. Just amazing.
