February 27, 2024 - Needs a bit of time to open up but when it does those dark fruits elegantly smack you in the gums joyfully. Full body, medium aroma intensity, dark purple almost ink like. Black plums, blackberry, black pepper, blackcurrant dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, black cherry, oak, vanilla, cedar, sweet spices. Medium finish. Medium intensity. Medium Plus tannins. Medium plus complexity. Medium acidity. May improve slightly in next two years with leather and meat likely open up. Decent value and I would buy again on sale. Drink 2024 until 2028 for best results.

January 27, 2024 - Raspberries and brambles on the nose, some spice
Acidity a little prominent, spice, chocolate, very ripe fruit, gentle tannins, strawberries in the finish.
Definitely getting better with time in the glass.
Very good value at £13
Even better the next day, all fruit and acidity not sticking out at all. Lovely sweet jolly style.
