September 12, 2016 - Mörk, drar åt orange

Mycket honung, smånötig, fet smörig, saffran, botrytis

Hög sötma, bra längd, bra syra. Härlig intensitet

En bra flaska som tydligen lagrats garderobsvarmt.

July 8, 2016 - Highly aromatic and full of honey, limes, and spice. Deeply concentrated but rather lithe across the palate for an Auslese. This really races across the tongue despite the ripeness. The residual sugar is more than compensated by the aromatics and racy acidity. Extremely long finish. Delicious.

November 28, 2015 - Hazy notes from last week. This is coming together really well, with well integrated tropical and stonefruit flavours and a wonderful balance on the medium bodied palate with an off dry, long finish. This was a very impressive wine that has a long future (A-).

April 16, 2008 - Wine Cellar Mosel & Alsace (Wine Cellar): (Tasted Blind): An off-dry Auslese style beautifully balanced by a racy and driving acidity. Notes of boiled sweet join lemon verbena, lime and some tropical notes, giving plenty of fruit. Full-bodied with a reasonable depth of fruit and no botrytis, this long and rewarding wine closes with more mineral and slate than expected.

April 7, 2008 - Terroir-istes International - Germany, Riesling plus 3 outsiders (Rodwell House): (Tasted Blind) Pale lemon-green, lifted, floral edged notes with pressed white flowers, wet wool and mineral. Rich and fuller in themouth yet delicately structued and underlying fresh but not abunmdant acidity (seems to work). Mineral, rock dust on the mid-palate, more linear suggesting Mosel over Rheingau as well as its low alcohol 8%? Good length and enjoyable. Riper Auslese style with its noted RS.
