October 31, 2015 - very nice drinker
October 13, 2013 - I liked this a lot better the last time I had it, not sure why. This is a decent bottle of wine but just not my style. Really great fruit, starting to show some earthy tones and some complexity. For me though it seemed too sweet and a bit "pumped up." Blind, my guess is I'd have picked this as a Cali. pinot. A very nice bottle of wine, just not my style. A solid wine you can drink now and over the next 5-10 years.
March 17, 2013 - Probably close to 5 years since my first bottle. What a difference! The Pinot has evolved very gracefully into a wonderful and complex wine. Deep and dark cherry fruit. Some smoke and a touch if funk but still fresh. Really long and elegant finish. Worth the wait.
October 12, 2012 - Slightly bricked ruby red. The nose is a blast of strawberry and sweet cherry. Fuller bodied with a load of sweet red fruit. Some tannins persist, this is in a good drinking window, but is a bit sweet alone. Would sing with the right food.

September 28, 2011 - Wines of the West Coast of the United States (Sydney): Colour: Medium plus intensity, ruby
Nose: Concentrated red fruit, sweet spice, white pepper, vanilla and cream
Mouth: Medium plus acid and medium plus tannin; grippy, course tannin. Fleshy, juicy, cherry red fruit.
September 10, 2011 - Lovely, big, dark pinot, more a California style than the lighter Oregon pinots...marvelous fruit and a fine terroir. Will hold for a few years.
October 29, 2010 - Good red fruit, but not big. Earthy and mid-weight. A very nice Pinot. At Bit of Italy near LAX.
September 12, 2010 - Restrained fruit that opens up a bit with air. Good crispness to the fruit, nicely balanced. Deep in color, looking more like Syrah, but it doesn't come thru on the palate that way. Totally forgot about 1/2 bottle for 3 days. Still nicely balanced with good fruit and no oxidization. I'm going to let the other bottle age a year or two more. Nice
August 1, 2009 - Subdued nose with a bit of raspberry coming through, a bit thin on the mouth feel. Some of that berry, a bit of smoke and some brown sugar flavors. We've got it in the decanter and hope it will develop a bit more substance. It didn't really although it was pleasant and easy to drink.
