February 15, 2024 - Tasted at Wine & Spirits Top 100, NYC. Fascinating blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Vermentino, Verdicchio and Viognier. Floral, honeysuckle, grapefruit, other mixed citrus, bright acidity. I liked this a lot. First time I’ve had it.
December 20, 2023 - Magnificent drinking experience, this second white from Ornellaia (v21, 13.5% ABV, 72 Savvy B, 16 Vermentino, 6 Viognier, 6 Verdicchio) - a sheer pleasure from pop, top flight demi-oaked Savvy B. Pale straw-golden, green reflections in appearance. Nose shines w bright scents of lemon & lime, grass, Vermentino florality, just a tad of gooseberries. Rich, round medium-bodied palate, perfectly balanced acidity to cut the fat, a tad of sweetness leading to an enduring, mineral-driven, rounded & refreshing close! Simply fantastic.

May 22, 2023 - Italy Honeymoon; 5/17/2023-5/29/2023 (Italy): Fruity, fresh minerality, fresh cut grass, lemon. Sav Blanc, Vermentino, Viognier blend. Would go well with oysters, seafood. I really enjoyed this one on a hot Bolgheri day.
