October 21, 2008 - Beautiful spices on the nose, along with quite a bit of red fruit. Nice mouthfeel, soft friendly tannins, and black berries of all types.

March 21, 2008 - the label says the wine is bottled unfiltered but in the glss is clear, dark garnet to a lighter edge. fruity, but almost raw aroma..potent, but not off-putting. smoky cherries, dark plums, and black currant.. to a finish with pepper. still fairly unrefined, but an interesting taste
