December 11, 2009 - dunkelrot, in der Nase schwarzkirsche und vanille, weiche gut eingebundene Tannine mit schöner Säure, Geschmack der Nase setzt sich fort.
December 11, 2009 - leichter Korkschmecker. Nicht extrem, aber so störend das kein Genuss möglich war.

December 28, 2008 - Christmas drinking; 12/24/2008-12/28/2008 (Hong Kong): Served at cellar temp in black glasses. Everyone guessed red, some wild rasberry and mushroom.
December 15, 2008 - This was consistent with previous note. For some reason thought I'd over rated it last time, perhaps as it wasn't 'in yer face', but was pleasantly surpised yesterday and again today when I finished the bottle.
November 11, 2008 - Hints of rasberry which faded, a little veg and mushroom. Palate is clean and bright, good balance and structure with some fine tannins gripping at. Wood starts to come through on the finish along with some heat and acidity but just not too much. Has a good length finish.
At the price I paid this is a good QPR wine, better with food but drinkable on it's own or with a olives and nuts.
