October 27, 2019 - Opened and decanted for 15 minutes or so at the Dining Room at the Inn at Biltmore. Powerful nose of bright red fruits. Initial heat that blew off completely by the time we received the entree. Beautiful palate with the lushness you expect with a fine Pomerol. Outstanding wine and very drinkable now with a decant of an hour or so. Still has a great future.

August 21, 2019 - Deep dark ruby, opaque, did not decant, nose is great with full display of cherry, cassis, kirsch, plum preserves, chocolate, leather, tobacco, licorice and some violets. Palate is smooth, medium body, acidity is balanced, plums, cherries, licorice, tobacco, mocha on the palate, finish is medium with fine, dusty, slightly bitter but pleasant tannins. Its at full maturity, drink now or hold for few more years.

July 9, 2019 - This is probably at full maturity with all the soft lush textures, a blast of cocoa, truffle, chocolate, licorice and plum, with a silky, medium/full bodied finish. I do not see this improving from here, but it should remain at this peak for at least 5 or more years.
