    April 9, 2024 - Just a great Nahe Riesling.
Obviously way to young, but One can already envision it’s full potential. Bouquet is very delineated in a citrusy direction with tons of wet stones underneath.
Brilliant, as always this will provide decades of drinking pleasure.

January 12, 2024 - A night of GG Rieslings (Ok Omens, Portland Oregon): The nose shows a lot of freshness and pristine qualities with deep tones of white peaches, green apples, sweet lemons, crushed rocks, fresh herbs, acacia flowers, quince, saline, white flowers, and white fruits. There is so much going on here and it shows just the right amount of herbalness without going into something bitter or green. The Medium bodied feel is deft, deep, and pristine with electric, high acidity. The acidity has a lot of cut and sharpness, but it isn't overwhelming even at this time. This was a real beauty and one that really hit me in the right places. There doesn't feel like there's much baby fat that it needs to shed and it will likely have a pretty long and open window.

December 2, 2023 - Mostly Older Cabernet Franc Tasting (New Jersey, USA): Lovely, bright light yellow color. Nose has a whiff of petrol and citrus. But the palate is more green apple, nectarine and lemon zest. Saline finish. Gorgeous wine! Long life ahead. 93-94 with upside…

December 2, 2023 - Decanted for 30 min. Fragrant nose, opulent mouthfeel. Very young but great apple, lemon zest, salinity and acidity. Perfect balance, classy. It will hard to wait for this to get even better in my cellar.

November 11, 2023 - PnP, natural cork, 13% Alc., bright yellow color, no bubbles.

Nose: Open, stone fruit, pear and minerality.

Palate: Vibrant, lots of energy, a fine trace of salt, finest lemon, delicate hints of high quality apricot, puristic, good intensity and length.

    Great class again, 94+.

September 4, 2023 - During a merchant tasting, so only brief impressions. All the Dönnhoff GG wines showed very young and closed. Knowing how well they do with time, I would not touch them for 10 years. 92-94

August 28, 2023 - Grand vin in the making - albeit much too young. Intense, rich, smokey, complex, this is showing the terroir really well. Give 5+ years
