April 27, 2023 - I wanted to try this since I’m a huge fan of Daniel Bouland wines from Morgon, Cote de Brouilly and Chiroubles. Light straw gold, honeysuckle and melon on the nose, rounded and very easy going. Certainly better than party wine, yet not especially complex and hard to discern any sense of place—unlike Bouland’s cru Beaujolais wines, which have always been outstanding and clearly speak of specific terroirs.
