July 26, 2015 - Still holding together, and a fascinating wine. Would definitely guess aged cab if tasting blind on this. Teetering on the edge, though. Drink up.

August 24, 2013 - This one fooled everyone. Folks thought it was a cab and really enjoyed it. It still had nice flavor profile although clearly had nuances of an aged wine.

November 1, 2012 - Wow! Was expecting a throw-away bottle here. Found something completely different. Cork was soaked, but wine was fine. Took 30 minutes or so to open up, and continued to evolve over 2 hours, but the bottle was empty by then. Nose of dampness and stone. Still quite a bit of fruit (relative - based on expectations), and enough tanin to suggest that it still has some life left. A bit nutty. A bit of lovely sharpness still there, but mostly quite smooth. Moderate finish. Again, wow. Was not expecting this.

July 29, 2006 - Tired and only showing a glimpse of what the fruit this likely possessed years ago. Interesting for the secondary earth notes, but well past peak drinking.

December 20, 2001 - Ruby garnet colour with orange rim. Earthy dried cherry (Chianti like) nose. Dried cherries prunes and blackberry taste. Dusty smooth and elegant. Classy deep and complex but lost some fruit.
