February 18, 2016 - TTTG Blind (North by Northwest) (ER): Tart, sour herbal cherry, spice, loads of sage on the amazing, captivating nose. Rich; almost crunchy. Undoubtedly New World Cab Franc, and a treat. My wine of the night.
February 6, 2014 - Floral notes along with cedar, celery, spice and cherry. Earth character on the finish. A bit past peak but still drinkable.
March 15, 2012 - Rich, elegant, drinking great. One of those wines you kick yourself over not having purchased more.
December 31, 2011 - Wow, what a wine; what a cab franc! Terrific taste, nose and color; we all agreed it was one of the best, most complete cab francs we'd ever had. big, balanced and succulent.
August 7, 2011 - Vacation Wines: Pride, Matrot, Owen Roe, Two Hands, etc.; 8/7/2011-8/15/2011 (Family Beach Cottage, Scarborough, Maine): Quick note. Decanted one hour. Very deep, ripe and rich--perhaps just a touch warm. Full-bodied, jammy and full of ripe, dark fruit, this powerful wine is at its peak and should be drunk over the next couple of years.
November 25, 2010 - Concentrated and drinking well with blueberries, earth, coffee and blackberries. Medium finish and tannins have mellowed out since the last time I had this wine. Drink now.
August 22, 2010 - BBQ with Big Reds (Judith's House): Very Dark color. Gorgeous wine with enticing nose of anise, earth dark fruit, cedar, very aromatic. Beautifully balance, elegant, long finish. This is one of the nicest Cab Francs i've ever had. 93-94 pts.
December 13, 2009 - Love this wine!
September 28, 2009 - On the downside, drink now. Still pretty good with Chicken Liver Pate, but don't wait...
December 20, 2008 - Same as the last few times I have tasted. Earthy funk mixed with blueberries and pie crust aromas. The palate is very fresh and shows fresh cedary, cherry flavors. Finish is elegant and not sappy.
