August 26, 2016 - Really good. No alcohol burn, just big, giant Cabernet flavors with a very dry finish. Tasted really good with a strip steak.

October 31, 2013 - Great drinker without over the top complexities. For a Howell Mtn Cab it was a bit light and missing that power you get from Howell mtn. I knew this from my previous bottles so I paired it with a pork dish instead of a big beef dish. I really enjoyed my bottles.

June 4, 2011 - Got this one at the winery upon release. At the time I wasn't very impressed. I thought it would be gone by now but was pleasantly surprised to find a bold, dark and complex wine opening up after a few hours. Finish is surprisingly short.
