Fun wine - beautiful color, lots of froth and fizz, a ton of sweet strawberry and raspberry fruit on both nose and palate, lifting acidity, and...OMG...how it slips down effortlessly like some carbonated fruit drink. 9% alcohol gives you a little buzz and a gentle reminder that this is strictly adult juice!
August 28, 2014 - „Manga & Wine – Manga & Dine“ at Weinbar 4 Tiere in Zürich (awesome wine bar, by the way). Pairing 6, wine 2. We drank this Giulio Cocchi Brachetto d'Acqui next to a Tsuno Wine Campbell Early Sparkling Wine. The Giulio Cocchi Brachetto d'Acqui was medium ruby in colour and offered red fruit, raspberry and strawberry on the fruity and sweet-scented nose. On the ripe, fruit-driven palate the medium-bodied wine was semi-sweet, with raspberry and strawberry flavours, paired with medium-level acidity and good length. Very candied. 87+
