January 14, 2017 - Final of 4 bottles and this showed well. Leads with dark fruits and just a touch of savory spice tones; comes across as medium-weight in the mouth and fairly polished. Good length and enough structure to be held together, but guessing it's better to drink this year than to give much more time.

April 17, 2015 - Nose: The nose has a rich dark red fruit core with dark red cherries, licorice, blueberries, blackberries, and dark spices.

Taste: Full bodied with silky tannins and medium acidity. The feel is plush and polished with blackberries, blueberries, dark red cherries, and some licorice.

Overall: This is definitely on the forward side, but it's plush and has a real yum factor. It's drinking extremely well right now and feels like it's in the zone.

December 9, 2014 - Full-bodied Syrah with lots of red fruit and smooth finish. Each bottle has been a pleasure to drink.

April 25, 2014 - good wine for the price

August 31, 2013 - For the most part, a harmonious marriage of old and new world. Understated yet distinct notes of tar, blueberry compote, green peppercorns, anise, and coal ash. Supple on the palate with a lingering finish. 14.9% abv and it shows.
