  June 2, 2023 - Brambly older nose worth plummy aromas. Tart fruit. Some tannins with good acidity. Flavors of aged red fruit, cherry, raspberry and a hint of menthol. Medium finish.

  November 22, 2021 - Popped and poured. Vibrant and full of life. The fruit is now in balance with the tannins. Plenty of life left, but now on the backside.

  March 11, 2018 - Second Sunday Group: 2005 Bordeaux (R&D's): Double decanted off its sediment a couple of hours before dinner. Peppery dark fruit, spice and floral elements. Tannins are softening nicely and this is in a good place for my palate- medium tannins; plenty of fruit. Has a nice perfumed quality that's really nice. Paired well with D's spring lamb stew.

  September 1, 2013 - I say 93, only because I'm afraid to go higher. We had this bottle on our inaugural visit to Chef Joe's new Roberta's Restaurant. Both the food and the bottle were of the highest caliber. Good friends go together, as well as good wine and good food--it's the way that it is.
