February 7, 2023 - big robust primary still. very fresh and barley budging in age. Easily 20 years more to go.

June 14, 2020 - Kirsch and tomato leaf on the nose. Lithe frame carrying fine tannins. Fairly pure fruit on the palate, surprisingly youthful, but concentration does a reverse crescendo thinning out on the midpalate and not offering much length. Still, pretty good, particularly given the subpar vintage.

July 27, 2019 - Crumbly cork, overly dry, storage issues likely

April 25, 2019 - Kirsch, floral note, herbs, smoked fruit and cherry on the nose. Palate was deep with layered. With 90 mins of bottle breathing, the wine is starting to enter its drinking window with many more years to go. It is always one of my favourite soldera vintage

September 29, 2016 - First of many Solderas to come, ex-domaine thru Corney. Paul Hart said this was the favorite wine of many Italophiles and can see why. Purity, depth, balance and different. Crystalline clear ruby color, floral nail polish-y nose. Core of tart cherry fruit. Needed about 90 minutes to really open up in the glass.
