March 17, 2024 - Magnum bottle decanted for 4 hours which is an absolute for the wine to come togheter. Upon opening it's closed with mostly tannin and alchohol in taste. When poured after the decant I'm amazed by how vibrant this wine is even 20 years after production. Quite complex with a nice mix of fruit and tietary aromas. Served with elk steak and gravy sauce. Faboulus pairing.

I've got one more bottle but no hurry to consume it. It will probably show as good as today for the next 5 years +.

June 15, 2014 - Aged it 5 years in cellar. Did not improved so much as I expected. got a more spicy and narrow taste that lacked body and aftertaste. Remembered the non-aged version as open, full bodied and silky aftertaste.
