Community Tasting Notes 29

  • Peter Spijker Likes this wine: 93 points

October 9, 2023 - Deep bronze color, quite sweet, with petrol, apricot, orange, honey, caramelized pineapple and mango, just enough acidity to keep things interesting (but a bit more would have bumped this up in terms of score). Paired very nicely with soft but strong cheeses.

  • Kellerkind Likes this wine: 94 points

February 2, 2023 - Fantastic cork, as always with Weil. Surprisingly dark Amber. Liquified dried apricots of great purity.

  • nnektarios Does not like this wine:

December 17, 2022 - Past peak. Bad bottle probably, otherwise disappointing.

    February 15, 2022 - 2 hours of air - absolutely delicious.

Deep bronze color, strong and rich flavors of orange, brewed tea, some petrol, glycerol, honey, ripe tropical fruit. Balanced acid and weight, strong and impressive, great finish. Delicious and many years ahead

  • Sperls Likes this wine: 93 points

December 31, 2021 - Honey color, nice honey marmalade fruit, w a bit of grapefruit. Lower acidity. Long finish. Went great with foie gras.
